PEEC program overview
The Missouri PEEC program ( Pediatric Excellence in Emergency Care) is Missouri's only nationally recognized pediatric certification program for Missouri Hospitals. Hospitals participating in this program will be evaluated on all the components of the National Pediatric Readiness Program Pediatric Readiness Assessment - Home Page (pedsready.org). Applying for the Missouri PEEC program will ensure that your hospital has met all the national standards in caring for pediatric patients. Tim Staed, MD - Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at St. Louis University
Timothy (Tim) Staed is an Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at St. Louis University Department of Pediatrics and is an Emergency Room Physician at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis. He has been a member of the Glennon Care Pediatric group since 1999. Glennon Care staffs pediatricians in community hospitals in the Saint Louis area. He is the Glennon Care Site Supervisor at St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis and President-Elect of that medical staff. Dr. Staed serves as physician lead for Missouri EMSC Pediatric Facility Recognition Program. He also served as physician lead for the Cardinal Glennon Hub of EMSC's Pediatric Readiness Quality Collaborative from 2017-2021. Dr. Staed is associate PI for the Glennon Hub of Pediatric Pandemic Network (PPN).
